One more step, one more day towards you

Back in September of 2006 when I returned to the Camino de Santiago with my beloved daughter, my precious, precious sunshine, little did I know that the dream I had held close in my heart to be here, in Spain, would be closer than I ever thought possible. One step at a time, one day at a time, one stage at a time, one word, one smile, a spontaneous fit of laughter about the sexual life of praying mantises that led to a beautiful dream coming true. Now, almost 3 years after the fact, I am here in Spain, in Logrono, surrounded by mountains in the distance and vineyards close by, with a darling man who patiently and lovingly does his husband duties, a dog who thinks is the princess of the house and a business soon to open..... It has been a long road, a tough and ardous road, filled with try outs, mistakes, crashed dreams, high hopes, lucky breaks, worries and sleepless nights but we are still here..... and how little did I know that the Yellow Arrow (the famous Flecha Amarilla) would bring me to you..... my dream.
